'Deposit all the money in God's fund', Supreme Court in Banke Bihari Temple case

The Supreme Court has given strict instructions in the matter related to donation in Banke Bihari Temple of Vrindavan. The apex court directed the management committee of the temple to create a transparent system for receiving donations and maintaining its accounts. Apart from this, the court said that 'every single paisa' of donation should first be deposited in the fund of the deity through designated donation boxes or online payment.

The Supreme Court warned that if Sevayat or any person tried to obstruct this process, it would be taken seriously. The court also made it clear that no person associated with the temple will keep the offerings in his possession before they are deposited in the treasury.

A transparent system for receiving and accounting for donations should be created to prevent irregularities and ensure that all donations are properly accounted for.
