Development of Kanpur will get new momentum, brainstorming on many mega projects from New Kanpur City to Ganga River Front.

Kanpur. Important initiatives have been taken towards making the city a modern, well-organized and attractive metropolis for investment. MP Ramesh Awasthi held a meeting with Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) Vice Chairman Akankshu Goyal at the MP Seva Kendra and discussed in detail several ambitious projects related to the future of the city.

In the meeting, it was agreed to give priority to development works promoting Kanpur’s planned expansion, modern urban facilities and investment. During this period, strategic brainstorming was done on many big projects related to the long-term development of the city.

The meeting discussed the New Kanpur City and Aerocity projects, which aim to develop modern residential and commercial areas in the city. Apart from this, a plan to promote tourism and redesign the natural beauty of the city through the Ganga River Front Project was also considered.

Modernization of Green Park Stadium to make the sports facilities world class was also discussed. Along with this, emphasis was also laid on beautification of major intersections of the city and making the urban infrastructure of Kanpur more strong, well-organized and in line with future needs.

During the meeting, MP Ramesh Awasthi said that it is his priority to take Kanpur to new heights of development. He expressed confidence that all these projects will be taken forward rapidly on priority basis, so that the people of the city can get a better, modern and convenient urban environment.
