When asked if there was a temptation to copy Pant's dominant style, Jurel said that there are different ways of batting in Test cricket and that is the beauty of this format.
Jurel said that the way Pant bats is a part of his game and he has been playing in the same style for a long time. Jurel believes that he cannot play aggressive cricket from the beginning like Pant. His own batting plan is different. He selects his shots by understanding the position of the bowler and the ball.
