Dipika Kakar liver cancer update: Famous TV actress Deepika Kakkar, who has been bravely facing stage 2 liver cancer for more than a year, recently shared information about her health with fans. In a recent vlog shared by her husband and actor Shoaib Ibrahim, the ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ star gave a glimpse of her treatment journey where she was seen undergoing scheduled immunotherapy infusion sessions.

Deepika Kakkar talked about her health in a new vlog shared on the YouTube channel of her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim. Lying on the hospital bed and despite looking tired, Deepika, smiling as always, told that due to the medicines she was feeling sleepy and lethargic.

After this Shoaib came in front of the camera and assured the well-wishers. Talking about his wife’s frequent visits to the hospital for treatment, he said, “Now it has become a routine, it happens every 20-21 days.”

During the hospital vlog, Shoaib told the audience that some minor problems were revealed in the recent routine check-up. He said, “Some things came to light. Last time his iron level was a little low, so he is being given iron through IV. After this I think we will be back home in about one and a half to two hours.”

While talking on camera, he told that he is experiencing mild side-effects due to the clinical procedure. The ‘MasterChef’ contestant said, “Everything is fine. I am just a little dizzy because they gave me a medicine earlier which makes me sleepy. That’s all. Everything else is absolutely fine.”

Last time when they went to the hospital, they had to stay there overnight but this time Shoaib and Deepika told that the treatment was completed successfully as a day-care procedure. Due to timely discharge, he was able to return home to his younger son Ruhaan.

Shoaib told that these days Ruhaan feels more connected to him and has become a little irritable. Whenever his parents have to go to the hospital, the child becomes visibly upset.

For those who don’t know, let us tell you that Deepika’s health problems started in May 2025, when doctors found a large tumor in her liver, which required major surgery to remove it. The actress faced another challenge in early 2026 when she had to undergo a radiofrequency ablation (RFA) procedure for a recurring cyst. Subsequently, a sensitive MRI scan revealed two more small (pin-point sized) cysts. Now he has been advised to undergo frequent immunotherapy sessions.
