Do you think too much, are you stressed? This lesson from Srimad Bhagavad Gita will be useful

In today’s busy life, many people are always thinking about something or the other. Many times a person thinks thousands of times before taking small decisions in life. Instead of thinking about their future, some people remain sad thinking about the negative events that have happened in their life. Due to this, the person’s mind remains sad and he remains stuck in old things instead of the present. This is considered to be overthinking, due to which many people are troubled in today’s times. Ways to avoid this overthinking are mentioned in the Hindu scripture Srimad Bhagavad Gita.

Such verses and teachings have been written in Srimad Bhagavad Gita, the most sacred text of Hindu religion, by adopting which a person can overcome many of his problems and troubles. What is the lesson of Bhagavad Gita?

In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna had told Arjun that one should always keep doing one’s work and should not worry about the results of one’s work. Because of this, many people often think more about what result they will get for their actions. When we do not worry about the results of our actions, half of our worries will end there.
‘You have right to action, never to fruits.

Let not the fruits of action be thy motive, nor let thy attachment be to inaction.

The meaning of this verse is that a person has the right only on his actions, not on the results. Therefore, keep doing the work and do not worry about the results, because we cannot control everything regarding the outcome of the work.

happiness and sorrow are temporary

Many people consider the difficult circumstances of their life as permanent and remain immersed in the same sorrow. For this reason they keep thinking continuously. Regarding this, it is said in Bhagavad Gita that happiness and sorrow are temporary.

Lord Shri Krishna has clearly stated in Bhagavad Gita that happiness and sorrow are temporary. Just as the darkness of the night does not last forever, similarly sorrow and suffering also do not last forever in a person’s life. That means, the person who faces difficulties in his life also gets comfort and success in his life. Similarly it is written in Geeta

‘The touches of matter, O Arjuna, are the causes of cold, heat, pleasure and pain.
They come and go and are impermanent; bear with them, O Arjuna.
