Donald Trump Launches US AI Chatbot: US President Donald Trump has launched America’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chatbot. Trump on Tuesday launched the America.gov website equipped with artificial intelligence, the purpose of which is to make it easier for people to access government information and services. However, Trump was defeated in the live program when the AI chatbot started giving answers different from Trump’s claims. Soon after its launch, the website’s AI chatbot started answering some political and sensitive questions that were different from Trump’s public statements. Shortly after its launch, the website also stopped answering some of these political questions.
The America.gov chatbot answered sensitive questions like the 2020 presidential election, Trump’s possible candidacy in 2028, climate change, the Pentagon and presidential salaries. All these answers were completely different from the claims of US President Donald Trump.
America.gov’s chatbot regarding the 2020 presidential election said there was no evidence in official federal sources that widespread fraud changed the outcome of the election. The chatbot also said that some different crimes related to the elections had taken place and action was taken in their cases. Trump has long been claiming without evidence that the 2020 election was stolen from him. However, the post-election audit and recount did not find fraud on a large scale that would have changed the outcome of the election.
According to media reports, America.gov’s chatbot gave direct answers to many political questions during its initial launch. However, after some time the website started changing its answers. On questions like 2020 elections, the chatbot later said that it does not answer political questions. This change was evident in the answers within just a short period of time.
Can Trump contest elections in 2028?
When the chatbot was asked whether Trump could contest the presidential election in 2028, it cited the 22nd Amendment of the US Constitution. The reply said that a person cannot be elected President more than twice and Donald Trump has been elected twice in 2016 and 2024. The chatbot also clarified that it is not giving legal advice.
Different answer even in the name of Pentagon
The chatbot described the Pentagon as the headquarters of the Department of Defense. This answer is also different from Trump’s initiative, under which he has taken steps towards changing the name of the Defense Department to Department of War.
Answer on President’s salary different from Trump’s claim
America.gov’s chatbot also challenged another of Trump’s claims on the question related to the president’s salary. Trump again said on Tuesday that he is the first US President to forego his salary. On the contrary, the chatbot said that some presidents had not taken their salaries. He met George Washington, Herbert Hoover and John F. Kennedy’s name was counted among those presidents who had refused to take their presidential salary before Trump.
