According to the latest Financial Disclosure (Periodic Transaction Report) issued by the US Office of Government Ethics, 1,051 securities transactions were made from his accounts during the month of June. As per government rules, these transactions are reported in a certain value range, under which the estimated value of the total deals made in June has been estimated between $78.1 million (approximately ₹650 crore) to $263.1 million (approximately ₹2,190 crore). Largest trade: Sale of shares of Vanguard ETF The largest single transaction in the month of June was recorded on June 22, according to the filing. In this, stakes worth between $5 million to $25 million (approximately ₹41 crore to ₹208 crore) were sold in Vanguard Group's exchange-traded fund (ETF). Apart from this, repeated buying and selling (Swing/Rebalancing Trades) of many major stocks in the portfolio was also seen. What did Donald Trump's accounts buy? According to financial disclosures, major US companies and financial giants made huge purchases: Berkshire Hathaway: $1 million to $5 million worth of shares in Warren Buffett's company were purchased on June 18. Financial and corporate giants: On June 18 alone, shares worth $1 million to $5 million each were bought in payments giants Visa, Mastercard and workplace services company Cintas Corp. Defense and Retail Stocks: New positions were created in the portfolio in shares of companies like RTX, Northrop Grumman, Coinbase and Home Depot. Palantir Technologies: After purchasing data analytics firm Palantir on June 3, shares were bought again on June 23 and 24. Shares of which companies were sold? Meta Platforms: On June 18, $1 million to $5 million worth of shares of Mark Zuckerberg's company Meta were sold (although some smaller amounts were repurchased later). Motorola Solutions: Stake worth $1 million to $5 million was also sold in Motorola Solutions on June 18. Profit Booking in Palantir: On June 16 and 18, Palantir shares worth $5 lakh to $10 lakh were sold. Partial selloff in Berkshire Hathaway: Some shares of Berkshire Hathaway were sold on June 24 after heavy buying on June 18. White House's clarification: 'Computer-based models and blind trust' The White House has clarified its stand on the allegations of trading taking place on such a large scale in the President's portfolio and possible conflict of interest. A White House spokesperson said President Trump's holdings are managed by third-party independent investment managers under discretionary accounts. The trading operates under computer-based algorithmic models and index replication (such as the Schwab 1000 index). There is no direct interference or input from the President or his family in this.
