Don't pay attention to rumours, police will keep a close watch on social media

Triveniganj. A meeting of the Sub-Divisional Peace Committee was organized in the Sub-Divisional Auditorium on Thursday regarding the upcoming Durga Puja. The meeting was presided over by Sub-Divisional Officer Abhishek Kumar. During this, SDPO Dilip Kumar, DCLR Sanskar Ranjan, City Manager Chandrabhushan Prasad, BDO Parmanand Kumar, Police Station Head Rakesh Kumar, Chhatapur Police Station Head Pramod Jha along with local public representatives, businessmen and dignitaries were present.

Addressing the meeting, SDO Abhishek Kumar said that Shardiya Navratri is a festival of worship of Shakti. It is everyone's responsibility to conduct it peacefully with social harmony and mutual brotherhood. The administration is completely serious and sensitive regarding puja. He informed that police force along with the magistrate will be deployed at more than 50 places in the subdivision area.

SDPO Dilip Kumar said that everyone should celebrate the festival with mutual brotherhood and harmony. Maintain law and order during the puja and follow the guidelines issued by the administration. He appealed to the people not to pay attention to any kind of rumour. Said that the police will keep a close watch on social media. If you get information about any kind of rumour, problem or suspicious activity, immediately inform the police, so that necessary action can be taken in time. He said that the police will remain fully alert to maintain peace and legal action will be taken against the miscreants.

BDO Parmanand Kumar said that festivals should be celebrated with mutual brotherhood and harmony. Follow the guidelines of the administration and do not pay attention to any kind of rumour. In case of any problem, inform the administration immediately, so that it can be resolved in time.

Police station incharge Rakesh Kumar said that it is the collective responsibility of everyone to maintain peace and order during the puja. He appealed to the people to follow law and order and immediately report any untoward situation to the police. He said that the police will remain fully alert regarding peace and order in the area.

In the meeting, trade union president Bhuvaneshwari Sah, chief union president Rajesh Kumar, MP representative DK Yadav, Mohd. Masan, Mohd. Hasan, Ajay Anand, Jagdev Ram, Shatrughan Chaudhary, Shambhu Arunabh, Anil Chaudhary, Satyam Kumar, Babita Sharma, Panchayat Committee member Bodhi Yadav, Arun Yadav and others were present.
