But keeping this problem of the users in mind, in 2020, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has launched the UPI Autopay facility. With the help of this service, you can set a ‘mandate’ once in any UPI app and after that your regular payments can be completed automatically.
This service will provide many benefits to customers. Such as avoiding late fees, not having to pay manually every time, and making payments in a secure manner. Specifically, you can set up AutoPay for credit card bills, mutual funds, and insurance with a limit of up to Rs 1 lakh. Specifically, you can turn off the AutoPay service for a payment at any time. How do you set up autopay on PhonePe?
- If you are using PhonePe, the process of setting up AutoPay is very simple.
- First of all, open the PhonePe app on your smartphone.
- Now tap on your profile photo at the top left of the screen.
- After this, scroll down and go to the payment settings section.
- Here you will see the Autopay button, click on it.
- Now a new screen will open in front of you, where you can select the mandate for which you want to set up auto-pay.
- Finally, the app will ask you to enter your UPI PIN. After entering the PIN, the AutoPay mandate will be set and your payment will be made automatically every time after that.
- Google Pay Kaise Set Karaal Autopay?
- First, open Google Pay on your phone. Then tap on your profile photo in the top right corner.
After this, click on the Autopay section.
- Here you will see mandates for different services, which you can manage.
- If you are setting up autopay for a specific service, go to the Pending section, select that mandate, and click the Accept button.
- Now set up AutoPay by entering the UPI PIN.
