Who is Dr. Dinesh Sharma?
Dr. Dinesh Sharma has been a professor of commerce in Lucknow University and has been associated with RSS and BJP for a long time. He was elected Mayor of Lucknow in 2006 and 2012. After this he also held responsibilities like National Vice President of BJP and in-charge of Gujarat BJP.
After the formation of BJP government in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2017, he was made the Deputy Chief Minister in the government of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He was also a member of the Legislative Council twice. He was sent to Rajya Sabha in the year 2023.
