Dullabchhada-Guwahati Express likely to start soon

Shribhoomi- Work is being done on a war footing by the Railways to restart Railway Line No. 2 which was damaged due to natural disaster in New Harangajao. Day and night, railway employees are engaged in repair work with the help of modern machines and equipment. The work of laying new tracks on the damaged railway line has been completed, while at present the important work of track packing is going on. It is reported that despite heavy rains, railway employees continued working at the spot till late night of September 2.

The railway administration is trying to restore the damaged line for passenger service as soon as possible. After completion of track packing work, necessary technical inspection, testing and other processes of the line will be completed. After this, steps will be taken towards restarting railway operations. Despite rail traffic being affected due to the natural disaster, railway officials and employees are continuously working in the field to bring the situation back to normal soon.

The resumption of Line No. 2 of New Harangjao is expected to be a major breakthrough in the direction of normalizing rail services. After the complete restoration of the line, initiatives are likely to be taken to restart the currently canceled trains in a phased manner. In such a situation, there is hope that Dulabhchhada-Guwahati Express will also start operating again soon.

However, resumption of train service will be ensured only after necessary testing and final permission from Railways. Seeing the problems of passengers, railway officers and employees are working continuously day and night. With the work of reconstruction of the railway line reaching the final stage, the hope of rail service becoming normal soon has increased among the passengers of Dulabhchhada and surrounding areas.
