Battery used to shut down while walking

In which it was alleged that some people used to misuse the mobile apps related to Battery Management System (BMS) and suddenly switch off the battery of the e-rickshaw while moving. Due to which drivers used to get stuck in the middle of the road and passengers had to face uncomfortable situations. In this sequence, many drivers also said that such incidents were directly affecting their daily earnings.

Government’s strict stance on 7 apps including BAT-BMS

To overcome this problem, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has issued a notice to Google Android and Apple iOS asking them to remove a total of 7 apps including BAT-BMS from the App Store. Regarding which the government believes that if the use of any app is becoming a threat to people’s safety or public order, then strict action should be taken against it. Apps like BAT-BMS in this list are commonly used to monitor battery charging, temperature, health, and other technical information. But by misusing it, dangerous situations are being created by draining the battery at any time.
