Nepal is sensitive to earthquake
Earthquakes occur several times every year in Nepal. The Himalayan country of Nepal is located in one of the most active tectonic zones (seismic zones four and five), due to which the risk of earthquakes remains very high. Being located in the Himalayan region, Nepal is considered extremely sensitive to earthquakes. This area comes under the influence of active tectonic plates, due to which seismic activities are often recorded here. In such a situation, even after this earthquake of 4.1 magnitude, the concerned agencies are keeping an eye on the situation.
