Rice Flour Masala Puri Recipe
First step- To make puri, you need 3 boiled potatoes, 1 cup rice flour, ginger-green chilli paste, salt, one-fourth teaspoon turmeric, one teaspoon cumin, one-fourth teaspoon celery, one tablespoon kasoori fenugreek, one teaspoon chili flakes, finely chopped coriander, half tablespoon oil and oil for frying.
Second step- Now grate the boiled potatoes well in a big bowl. Add rice flour to it and mix both the things. Now add ginger-green chilli paste, salt, turmeric, cumin and celery. Also add Kasoori Methi, Chilli Flakes and chopped coriander.
Third step- Mix all the spices with potatoes and flour well with hands. Knead the mixture into a soft dough by kneading it. Keep in mind that the dough should neither be too hard nor too soft. Now cover the prepared dough and keep it for about 10 minutes.
Fourth step- To make puri, keep oil in the pan to heat. After 10 minutes, knead the dough once again with gentle hands and make small balls out of it. Now prepare some thick puri by rolling it. When the oil is hot, add the puris one by one and fry them on medium to high flame until they become golden and crisp. Prepare all the puris in the same manner.
Serve hot rice masala puri with green chutney, tomato sauce or potato-tomato curry. Due to its crispy and spicy taste, everyone in the house will definitely like this puri.
