Seeing the increasing demand of passengers, new and attractive electric cars are being launched in the market every day. In this background now Oben Electric has launched its new bike Oben Rorr Evo in the market. This bike worth around 1 lakh rupees can comfortably cover a distance of up to 180 km on a single charge and the company is also offering an 8-year warranty on this bike.
Design and look
The look of Oben Roar Evo is very stylish and sporty. It features projector LED headlights and DRLs, which give the bike an attractive look. The tank design is strong and attractive, making this bike stand out on the road. A belly pan with special air channel is provided to keep the battery cool. The rear has a single seat with a sharp tail design and white stitching.
The bike features a unique mid-mounted IPMSM motor, which is 40% smaller than the previous model and delivers 20% more power. The bike produces 9 kW of power and is protected against dust and water thanks to an IP68 rating. This bike is capable of accelerating from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3 seconds. Its top speed in Eco mode is 60 km/h.
This electric bike has a 3.4 kWh LFP battery, which gives a range of 180 km on a single charge. Also, 8 years warranty is given on the battery provided in this. This bike is built on the ARX platform, which makes riding comfortable. The seat height of the car is 780mm, which is a comfortable height for most people. For suspension, there are telescopic forks at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear. Both the wheels have 270 mm disc brakes. This bike can even go through 230mm deep water, so it’s no risk even in the rain. In addition, there is 10 liters of storage space with 4 liters in the tank and 6 liters under the seats. USB charging ports are also provided, making it easy to charge mobiles.
Oben Roar Evo has an 8-inch color TFT display. It has features like navigation, call and SMS alerts, music control and trip meter. The bike offers 4 riding modes and 4 display themes.
The starting price of this bike is 1,24,999 (ex-showroom). However, it will be available for just Rs 99,999 for the first 10,000 customers. Booking has started and delivery will start from 30th May 2026.
