End of ‘Nitish era’ in Bihar from today, reached Lok Bhawan and submitted his resignation to the Governor.
Patna. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has resigned on Tuesday. He has submitted his resignation to Governor Lieutenant General Syed Ata Hasnain. He is also accompanied by Deputy CMs Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Chaudhary. The Governor accepted his resignation. After talking for about six minutes, Nitish Kumar came out of Lok Bhavan. Nitish Kumar greeted people with folded hands.

After resignation, Nitish Kumar wrote that you know that on November 24, 2005, NDA government was formed for the first time in the state. Since then there is rule of law in the state and we are continuously engaged in development work. From the very beginning, the government has developed all sections, be it Hindu, Muslim, upper caste, backward, extremely backward, Dalit, Mahadalit – work has been done for everyone. Work has been done in every field, be it education, health, roads, electricity, agriculture. A lot of work has also been done for women and youth.

He wrote that these days the work has been taken further. 7 Nischay-3 have been formed for the next five years i.e. 2025 to 2030. This will lead to more work which will take Bihar a lot further. The Center is also getting full support in the development of Bihar. For this we salute respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. Bihar will develop faster and will join the top states of the country and will contribute significantly to the progress of the country.
Nitish Kumar said that we have done a lot of work for the people of Bihar. We have served the people continuously for so many days. We had decided that we will step down from the post of Chief Minister and hence after the Cabinet meeting today, we met the Honorable Governor and submitted our resignation to him. Now the new government will look after the work here. The new government will have my full support and guidance. A lot of good work will be done in future also and Bihar will progress a lot. I thank everyone very much and wish them all the best.
With the resignation of CM Nitish Kumar, the beginning of a new political innings in Bihar is considered certain. BJP is preparing to form a government under its leadership in the state for the first time. The name of the new leader can be approved after the meeting of the legislative party.
