‘Can’t bat blindly…’ Star cricketer’s big statement, explains the reason for Team India’s failure in England

IND vs ENG: Team India is on a tour of England these days, where Team India is playing the first five-match T20 series under the captaincy of Shubman Gill. After this, the Indian cricket team will play a three-match ODI series in England. At present, three matches of the five-match series have been played. Today i.e. on 9th July, the fourth T20 match is going to be played between India and England from 10 pm.

The first match of this series was washed out in rain. After this, England won the second match by 4 wickets. Team India lost the third match by 125 runs. Now in the fourth match, Team India is in danger of losing the series. England would like to win this match and win the series. Team India is continuously failing in England. Now the star cricketer has given a big statement on that.

England’s star all-rounder Moeen Ali, while talking on ‘Beard Before Wicket’ podcast, has talked about the reason behind Team India losing two consecutive matches in England. He has cited a special rule of IPL as the reason for the downfall of the batsmen of the Indian cricket team. Let us know what he has said.

Moeen Ali gave a big statement on Team India

Moeen Ali said, ‘Players cannot be aggressive from the first ball as soon as they enter the crease. There is an impact player rule in IPL, which saves him. I think this rule is taking away most of the art of batting according to circumstances and situations. You cannot just come on the field and bat blindly from the first ball. Impact player makes a big difference in IPL. I think they (Indian batsmen) have forgotten the art of batting in T20 cricket.

Moeen Ali said a big thing on Harshit Rana

Moeen Ali further said, ‘It was not right to call Shivam Dubey to bat at number eight and send Harshit Rana before him. I know it happened because Rana is a right-handed batsman, but you are picking a team full of left-handed batsmen. You can’t do this just like that.

The Indian cricket team had a chance to win the second T20 match but one over from Ravi Bishnoi changed the game. While the Indian cricket team had a chance to register victory in the third T20 match, their batsmen proved to be a flop and Team India lost both the matches. In the first T20, India had given a target of 190 to England but due to rain the second innings of the match could not start. Earlier, the Indian cricket team had also lost a 2-match series against Ireland under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer.
