San Francisco-based enterprise AI startup AuxoAI has raised $20.7 Mn (over ₹195 Cr) in a Series A funding round led by NTTVC, a Silicon Valley VC firm backed by Japanese telco NTT.

Industry executives including Norwest Venture Partners’ George Still Jr, ServiceNow CPO and COO Amit Zavery, and Charlesbank Capital Partners’ MD Giacomo Santina also joined the startup’s cap table.

AuxoAI plans to utilise the fresh capital to deepen ecosystem partnerships, expand its talent pool of forward deployed engineers (FDEs), and invest in its proprietary technology and AI-native delivery capabilities, including its Damia platform.

“Our vision is to build a new kind of AI company – one that combines human expertise, enterprise context and engineering to stay with the problem from the first idea through measurable outcomes in production. This investment gives us the opportunity to scale that model globally,” cofounders Avaneesh Tripathi, Avinder Pal Singh, and Kabir Singh said in a joint statement.

Founded in 2023, AuxoAI offers an enterprise AI platform that pairs its AI strategists and engineers with enterprise client teams to build custom AI workflows.

It helps enterprises accelerate AI deployment with Damia, a platform it describes as an “AI workbench for enterprise delivery”. It combines a pre-built skill catalogue with tools that capture institutional knowledge to build a context layer.

AuxoAI says that it is an AI-native Google Gemini Enterprise Transformation partner and an AWS advanced-tier partner. The San Francisco-based startup operates engineering and operational hubs in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Over the past three years, the startup claims that it has worked with over 40 clients across manufacturing, healthcare, consumer goods, and telecom sectors to turn AI into measurable business outcomes.

Early adopters, such as marketing firm Athlonearth and restaurant group Fogo de Chao, have deployed AuxoAI’s infrastructure to automate manual tasks, make better informed decisions, and shorten strategy-to-launch timelines.

As enterprises increasingly turn to AI adoption to boost productivity, FDEs are becoming increasingly critical for customising AI deployments to the company’s needs. According to staffing firm TeamLease Digital, demand for FDEs has jumped nearly 800% over the past year.

Startups such as Bolna use FDEs to accelerate enterprise onboarding and shape product development. While better automation could eventually reduce deployment complexity, fragmented enterprise systems make FDEs increasingly important to AI adoption.
