The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, received a lot of love for its story as well as its music. Now after the success of the film, the makers are preparing to take it to the global stage.
After box office, now eye on Grammy
It is reported that the songs and background score of the film have been sent for the world's biggest music award, Grammy. T-Series and Aditya Dhar's production company B62 Studios have given this information on their official X account. Makers told that the songs composed by music composer Shashwat Sachdev are being submitted for Grammy Awards in different categories. The focus of the campaign is on hit tracks like 'Phir Se', 'Aari-Aari' and 'Jaiye Sajna', which have been loved by the audience across the world.
Music sent in 9 categories
According to the poster shared by the makers, the music of the film has been sent to a total of 9 categories. Shashwat Sachdev's name has been given in the 'Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media' category. Whereas, the song 'Phir Se' has been submitted for 'Best Song Written for Visual Media'. Apart from this, 'Jaan Se Gujarte Hain' and 'Kanhaiya' have been included in the 'Best Global Music Performance' category, while the superhit song 'Aari-Aari' has been sent for nomination in the 'Best Asian Pop Music Performance' category.
Decision will be taken by voting
However, this submission is just the first step. This will give the film international recognition, but the nomination at Grammy is not confirmed at the moment. To be nominated, songs must go through the Recording Academy's rules and voting process. Now everyone's eyes are on whether the music of 'Dhurandhar' will be able to reach the Grammy.
