Even before the closure of Hormuz, India took out 3 tankers, the minister himself told

Iran has again closed the Strait of Hormuz after Israel’s massive bombing in Lebanon. On the other hand, America’s Vice President JD Vance says that till now there is no evidence of closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

 

Despite the agreement between America and Iran in France, Israel again launched a massive attack on Lebanon on Saturday, killing 16 people. Angered by this, Iran has once again closed the Strait of Hormuz. Iran said that Israel’s attacks are a violation of the agreement with America.

Good news for India

Meanwhile, happy news has come out for India, which has been told by Sarbananda Sonowal, a minister in the Modi government himself. In fact, Union Ports, Shipping and Waterways Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said on Saturday that three Indian-flagged crude oil tankers have crossed the Strait of Hormuz with 94 Indian crew members.

Tankers left for India

He told that after crossing the Strait of Hormuz, all three Poles have left towards India. More than 8.6 lakh tonnes of crude oil is loaded in these ships. He said that the three tankers named ‘Desh Vaibhav’, ‘Desh Vibhor’ and ‘Sanmar Herald’ are likely to reach India between June 24 and July 1.

 

Desh Vaibhav tanker is likely to reach Vadinar port on June 24, while ‘Desh Vibhor’ is expected to reach Sikka port on the same day. The third Indian-flagged oil tanker ‘Sanmar Herald’, which transited the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, is likely to reach Paradip port on July 1.
