The summit, held on July 31 by Gori, a U.S.-based digital supply chain and logistics company, and NTQ, a global technology and digital transformation partner, brought together nearly 100 representatives from Vietnamese businesses, along with logistics and technology experts, to discuss developments in cross-border trade, e-commerce, and supply chain management.

A central theme was how Vietnamese businesses can remain competitive amid increasingly complex global supply chains and changing trade regulations.
Robert Raines Jr., a former senior executive at the United States Postal Service (USPS), said U.S. import regulations and customs requirements have become more stringent. He advised businesses to closely monitor policy changes, remain flexible in responding to market conditions, and work with logistics partners that can adapt to changes.
He also noted that air freight has become a more cost-effective option for shipping smaller parcels in some cases, alongside traditional ocean freight.
NTQ’s Chairman Pham Thai Son and Business Development Director Lanh Hai Long discussed the role of digital platforms, standardized data management, and AI applications in improving supply chain operations through forecasting and automation.
The company also presented examples of logistics and e-commerce solutions it has developed with Gori to support operational efficiency and supply chain management.

Alongside keynote presentations, participants were able to engage with experts from leading domestic and international enterprises.
Speakers at the event said Vietnam continues to benefit from growth in e-commerce and manufacturing, while businesses are also facing greater uncertainty in international markets, including evolving U.S. tariff policies and trade regulations.
They said companies seeking to remain competitive should keep up with policy developments, invest in technology, improve shipment tracking and cost management, and maintain operational flexibility.

The summit also included presentations on technologies designed to support businesses expanding into overseas markets.
With the experience of delivering more than 200 parcels, Gori outlined its capability to support Vietnamese businesses in unpacking the full parcel journey for Vietnamese businesses entering the U.S. market, including label generation, shipment consolidation, international transportation, customs clearance, and integration with the USPS delivery network. According to the company, its platform incorporates AI tools for shipment tracking, data analysis, and demand forecasting.
NTQ, Gori’s technology partner, helps realize these directions through its capabilities in software development, systems integration, cloud computing, data management, and AI capabilities. According to the companies, the partnership combines Gori’s logistics operations in the U.S. with NTQ’s technology expertise to develop solutions for logistics and e-commerce businesses.
The organizers said the summit was intended to provide businesses with updates on market developments while creating opportunities for knowledge sharing and collaboration within the logistics sector.
