Vietnam Boat Accident: 30 days Visa-Free, how many Indians go every year?
A tragic sea accident involving Indian tourists on Saturday near Vietnam’s famous tourist destination Phu Quoc Island shocked everyone. A tourist boat carrying 36 people suddenly capsized, in which 32 Indian tourists were aboard. So far 15 Indians have died in the accident, while 21 people were rescued safely.
According to initial information, high sea waves and passengers not wearing life jackets are considered to be the major reasons for the accident. Phu Quoc, located in the Gulf of Thailand in the south-western part of Vietnam, is the largest island of the country.
