The accused used to call himself an Intelligence Bureau officer
Jammu. In Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, police have arrested a suspicious person who claimed to be an Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer. The officers provided this information. Officials said the accused has been identified as Ankush, a resident of Kathua district.
On receiving specific information, the police stopped a suspicious person traveling on a two-wheeler on Thursday morning and interrogated him. He said that during investigation the identity card possessed by him was found to be fake.
Officials said that initial investigation revealed that he used to introduce himself to people as an Intelligence Bureau officer. After this he was taken into custody for questioning. Officials said that investigation into the matter is ongoing.
