Fake IPS started threatening policemen if they did not salute, tea worth Rs 40 exposed

Fake IPS Officer: In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the Metropolitan Police Station has arrested a fake IPS officer. When interrogated, the person revealed himself to be an IPS officer posted in Noida. The person threatened the policemen and asked why they did not salute him. When the police asked for his ID card, he could not show any identity card. During strict interrogation, he revealed his name as Mithilesh Shukla, resident of Bharatnagar, Sitapur Road, Lucknow. He told that he works in Samsung located in Noida Sector-18.

According to the police, Mithilesh threatened the police personnel by calling himself IPS. There was also an allegation of creating obstruction in government work due to threats. A case has been registered against the accused in the metropolitan police station and legal action has been initiated. Police had received information that the accused was arguing with a tea seller.

Refused to pay Rs 40 for tea

The fake IPS is accused of refusing to pay Rs 40 at a tea shop and then demanded a salute from the policemen on duty. The accused is seen repeatedly asking the constables to salute him after trying to leave without paying the tea vendor. The shop owner had informed the police about the matter. When Pusis caught the man and interrogated him, he did not regret his actions. Instead he got angry at the constables and started asking them why they were not saluting him. He was claiming that he was an IPS officer posted in Noida.

Constable asked to show identity card

The police constable on duty told him, “Come in police uniform, show your identity card, and then I will salute you. Not before that.” Now people are praising the constable’s answer on social media. The person could not show any of these things. Responding to the viral video, Lucknow Police said on its X handle that the police has registered a case under relevant sections. The accused has been arrested.
