Field trainers are being trained for the second phase of Census-2027.

With the aim of conducting the second phase of Census-2027 (Population Count) in an organized, transparent and error-free manner, a training program for field trainers is being organized in the district. The training program has been scheduled in two slots on 07, 08, 09 October and 12, 13 and 14 October 2026.

On Friday, the last day of the first slot of the training, District Magistrate Isha Priya conducted a surprise inspection of the training centre. During this, he took stock of the quality of the training and interacted with the trainees and got information about their preparations.

Census is the basis for effective planning of development plans.

Addressing the trainees, the District Magistrate said that census is not just an administrative process but is an important basis for determining the socio-economic development and future policies of the country and the state. Only on the basis of accurate data obtained from census, effective outline of various welfare schemes and development programs is prepared. He instructed all the field trainers to receive the training seriously and with full dedication.

Ensure compilation of accurate data through digital means

The DM directed that after receiving the training, all the field trainers should provide proper training to the enumerators and supervisors in their respective areas regarding the prescribed procedure and the use of digital mediums, so that the accuracy and reliability of the data in the census work can be ensured. He made it clear that negligence will not be accepted at any level in this important national work.

A total of 60 field trainers have been trained so far under the training programme. The remaining 28 field trainers will be provided training in the second slot to be held from 12 to 14 October 2026.

On this occasion, District Census Officer/Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), related officers including master trainers and 60 field trainers trained in the first slot were present.
