Fire broke out in the home stay room in front of Prem Mandir, created chaos

Vrindavan: Amidst the presence of lakhs of devotees on the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, there was chaos in Vrindavan in the early hours of Saturday when suddenly a fire broke out in a room of Riddhi-Siddhi Home Stay located in the street in front of Prem Mandir. As soon as information about the fire was received, the police and fire team reached the spot. The team showed promptness and brought the fire under control. It is fortunate that there was no loss of life in the incident.

As soon as the information was received, Vrindavan Kotwali police and fire team reached the spot and started the operation to extinguish the fire. After hard work the fire was brought under control. A major accident was averted as the fire was controlled in time.

Fire caused by short circuit, no casualties

Vrindavan Kotwali in-charge Ashwani Kumar said that at around 3 o'clock in the night, information was received about fire due to short circuit in the room of Riddhi-Siddhi Home Stay located in the street in front of Prem Mandir. On information, police and fire team immediately reached the spot and the fire was brought under control. He said that there was no loss of life in the incident.
