First glimpse of Honda 0 Alpha EV’s interior ahead; Modern cabin and advanced features were discussed

Honda’s upcoming electric SUV Honda 0 Alpha EV is once again in the news. New spy photos of this vehicle have surfaced, from which the interior has been seen for the first time. So far, the exterior design of this SUV was being discussed, but now the modern technology and features in the cabin have also come to the fore, and the curiosity of the car lovers has increased even more. This model is being tested in India from March 2026 and it is expected to enter the market in early 2027.

According to the spy photos, the cabin of the Honda 0 Alpha EV is going to be sophisticated and technology-centric. The dashboard features a large floating touchscreen infotainment system in the middle, along with a separate digital instrument display for the driver. The display is mounted behind the three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel. It is also likely to get paddle shifters to control regenerative braking, which is considered an important feature in modern electric vehicles.

Interestingly, despite the large touchscreen, Honda has retained the use of physical buttons for some essential functions. The buttons seen on the center console may be for climate control, seat ventilation and other amenities. So along with the digital interface, customers will also get easy-to-use conventional controls.

The dashboard of this SUV has been given a scooped and multi-layer design, giving the cabin a distinct and premium look. However, as the vehicle is still in the testing phase, there are likely to be some design changes in the final production model.

In terms of design, the Honda 0 Alpha EV looks completely different from the company’s current designs. Boxy styling, square front profile, strong bumpers and strong road presence give this SUV an attractive personality. Also, square wheel arches, almost vertical tailgate and slim taillamps in vertical design make its look more uplifting.

The company has not yet released any official information about the powertrain. However, this electric SUV is likely to use battery packs from the CATL project in Indonesia. Information regarding the battery capacity, range on a single charge and fast charging are yet to be revealed.

After entering the Indian market, the Honda 0 Alpha EV will compete in the mid-size electric SUV segment. It is likely to compete with popular models like Mahindra BE 6, MG ZS EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Sierra EV, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser EV. With its modern design, advanced technology, attractive cabin and powerful features, the Honda 0 Alpha EV can create a distinct identity in the Indian EV market. Now the car enthusiasts are curious about the official announcement regarding the price, battery pack and driving range of this SUV from the company.
