Qasim Siddiqui, MLA, TMC:-
This was not Ritabrata Banerjee's group. We were told that we all are with Didi. We didn't know that Ritabrata was different. We all were with Didi, so whatever was said, we accepted it. Later we realized that it had nothing to do with Didi. We were called for a meeting only once. I campaigned for votes using his photo. People voted for me after seeing his picture. I am with Didi, and as long as I am active, I will remain with Didi.

Mamta is getting stronger?

Qasim Siddiqui's return has come at a time when there is a dispute going on in Trinamool regarding the leadership of the opposition. Mamata Banerjee faction claims that Mamata Banerjee faction is once again getting stronger in the Assembly, all the rebels will return. The rebel group is challenging the Speaker's decision and demanding a floor test.

Party MLA Kunal Ghosh has said that the Speaker's decision is temporary and the real authority lies with the parent party. He accused the rebel group of trying to break the party. Kunal Ghosh said that if there is a floor test, it should be done by secret ballot.
