It is reported that 80 Isha members returning from Kailash Yatra have gone missing in the floods. Sadhguru became emotional with trembling hands, appealed to the embassies
Sadhguru, who is usually calm, looked quite upset and emotional this time. Holding back tears and with trembling hands, he appealed to the Indian and Chinese embassies to allow him to visit Gyirong in Tibet, where floods have caused massive destruction.
He said he himself wanted to help in the rescue efforts and search for the remains of the pilgrims. Sadhguru said, "Seeing the scale of the devastation the situation looks bad. This is a terrible and extraordinary incident."
Let us tell you that in this flood in the border districts of Nepal, about 300 people have died and more than 1500 people are reported missing. According to Nepal's Foreign Minister, about 300 Indians are also missing. The flood has washed away houses, vehicles, bridges and communication has come to a complete standstill.
'Connection lost within minutes of sending message'
Sadhguru told that he had tried to go to the affected area on Thursday morning but found all the roads closed. He said, "We have not received any official confirmation yet, but seeing the devastation the situation is not looking good."
The most painful moment was when Sadhguru told that his group was at the immigration center in Gyirong when the entire building was washed away in a few seconds. A horrifying video of this has also gone viral. Sadhguru said, "The same building where we were for immigration just a week ago has been completely washed away."
He told that group leader Ishanga Praveen had sent a message at 9:05 am that they had reached immigration and this incident happened at 9:14 am. Sadhguru again became emotional while sharing that Praveen had been associated with Isha for more than two decades.

Sadhguru said that Praveen's Nepal phone was not active throughout the day. "If he had crossed the border, his Nepal phone should have been activated. It did not happen. So the entire group was in that building only."
Sadhguru warned that the tragedy was probably caused by an avalanche and its scope could be very large, with the number of affected people could be 1500 or more. It has been more than 12 hours since the last contact with the group, so expectations are diminishing. At present, the Indian, Chinese and American embassies are being contacted to get permission for Sadhguru and his small team to go to Gyirong.
