Bangladesh delivered another bright performance on Sunday, knocking off Australia by nine wickets at the Marrara Cricket Ground to register their first-ever Test win on Australian soil.
Chasing down the opponents' 198, Bangladesh posted 426 runs on their way to a dominant win, with debutant Tanzid Hasan hitting a century.
Later, in the second innings, Australia managed to score only 284, after Bangladeshi bowlers Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Hasan Mahmud picked up five and nine wickets, respectively. The Tigers drew first blood on day four as they chased down the 57-run target with ease.
This is Bangladesh's second Test win on foreign soil and the best result ever recorded by the team in Australia.
