Loud explosion in Vasundhara police post

The first news from Ghaziabad is from Vasundhara Police Post, where a suspicious organization named 'Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen Hindustan' (TMH) has taken responsibility for the blast. On Friday (6 November 2026) night between 9 and 10 pm, there was a loud explosion inside Vasundhara police post of Indirapuram police station area. In this incident, the windows of the post were broken and a 20-year-old delivery boy (Vishal) present there got minor injuries, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Suspicious organization's claim

An organization named 'Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen Hindustan' (TMH) with the handle 'Ghazi 2' on social media platform X has claimed responsibility for the blast. In the video, a masked man is talking about targeting the police against government policies. However, this account has now been deleted. According to highly placed security sources, there is no established organization named TMH in the counter-terrorism database. Intelligence officials speculate that this could be a digital propaganda or 'psychological operation' (Psy-Op) of Pakistan's ISI and gangster Shahzad Bhatti.

Considering the seriousness of the matter, UP ATS, IB, forensic and bomb disposal teams are investigating on the spot. However, it is difficult to identify the suspects due to the closure of CCTV cameras around the post and elevated road. The police are still avoiding reaching any final conclusion. According to the local people, illegally seized firecrackers were kept in the post, hence the possibility of firecrackers or gas cylinder blast being the reason behind the blast is not being ruled out. At present the forensic report is awaited.

Heavy jam on Delhi-Meerut Expressway due to festival (Top 5 Ghaziabad News)

The second news from Ghaziabad is about the heavy traffic jam due to the festival. Let us tell you that due to the huge crowd of people returning home on the festival of Diwali, there has been a huge traffic jam on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway (DME). Due to the sudden increase in the pressure of vehicles at the Dasna entry and exit points of the expressway, the speed of the vehicles has stopped and queues several kilometers long have formed. Due to the festival, passengers going from Delhi-NCR to Meerut, Moradabad and Uttarakhand are facing a lot of problems.

According to media reports, there is a bumper-to-bumper traffic situation on the main lane going from Delhi to Meerut as well as at Dasna Entry-Exit, Dasna Flyover and Lal Kuan Cut. People doing festival shopping and returning to their hometowns are stranded on this route, taking a journey of minutes to several hours for the commuters. Vehicular movement on IP Extension (near Ghazipur border) on Delhi-Meerut Highway has also become extremely slow due to the huge number of vehicles.

Traffic advisory for travelers

The traffic police has implemented route diversion for heavy vehicles and roadways buses in view of the festival. However, the expressway has become overloaded due to excessive pressure of private vehicles.

Police have appealed to avoid traveling on these stretches of the expressway unless absolutely necessary. To avoid the jam, local drivers are using the internal link routes of the city or alternative routes on the old Delhi-Meerut Highway (NH-58).

Knee-deep waterlogging on roads due to incomplete sewer work (Top 5 Ghaziabad News)

The third news from Ghaziabad is from Loni area, where in many major colonies, due to leaving the work of laying sewer lines incomplete for the last 6 months, knee-deep dirty water has accumulated on the roads. Due to non-repair of roads dug by Jal Nigam and blockage of drains by debris, life has become difficult for the residents of DLF Ved Vihar, Ankur Vihar and Rail Vihar Colony. Local people are describing this plight as 'life like hell', due to which school children, elderly people and local shopkeepers are suffering huge losses.

According to media reports, about six months ago the Jal Nigam had dug up the main roads and streets of the colonies to lay sewer lines. The drainage has come to a complete standstill due to the contractor slowing down the work midway and leaving debris on the roadside.

The dirty water from the drains is now overflowing and flowing on the main roads. There is knee-deep contaminated water near the main gates of the cooperative housing society and colonies. Due to potholes hidden under water, two-wheeler drivers are slipping and becoming victims of accidents every day. Due to accumulation of dirty water in front of the shops, customers have stopped coming, due to which the business of local traders is being ruined.

Additionally, due to the heavy filth and foul smell, mosquitoes have increased in the area, leading to the fear of spread of infectious diseases. Not only DLF, but the main road of ward number 47 of Loni is also in a bad condition. According to the local residents, when they complain to the public representatives, instead of constructing the road, they are given assurance of only temporary dumping of debris, due to which there is no permanent solution to the problem.

administrative assurance

After the matter came to light in the media, administrative officials have taken cognizance. Through correspondence to Jal Nigam, strict instructions have been given to the executing agency to immediately complete the sewer line work, remove debris from the roads and repair the dug roads immediately.

Fifth news: GRAP-3 restrictions regarding air pollution have been implemented, under which orders have been issued to compulsorily run all schools up to class 5th in hybrid mode (both online and offline). On Saturday (7 November 2026) morning, the average air quality index (AQI) of Delhi was recorded at 364, which falls in the 'Very Poor' category. Earlier on Friday evening it was at 38 average and meteorologists have predicted that it will soon reach the 'Severe' category (401-500).

According to the information received by the media, as per the orders of Delhi Education Directorate, hybrid mode will be mandatory in all government and private schools of primary (up to class 5th). The air quality at more than 18 centers in Delhi (e.g. 443 at IIT Delhi, 433 at Punjabi Bagh) has already crossed the 'severe' category. Due to slow wind speed, a thick blanket of smog has spread.
