'Ganpati Bappa Morya, Mangal Murthy Morya' Five Manache Ganpatis of Pune in the presence of a large number of devotees with the chants ofKasba Ganpati, Tambdi Jogeshwari Ganpati, Guruji Talim, Tulsi Bagh Ganpati and Kesari Wada Ganpati were consecrated.

The echo of mantras was heard since morning on the streets of all the settlements of Pune, the second largest city of Maharashtra., When beautifully decorated idols were being taken to the pandals to the beat of drums and traditional musical instruments.

The idol was taken to the pavilion in a chariot decorated with flowers at Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple. This year the decoration of the mandap is inspired by the famous Prem Mandir of Vrindavan. Famous classical flute player Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia passed away in Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Mandal., While Swami Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, performed the aarti.

Trustee of Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Mandal, Puneet Balan said that this year the theme of decoration has been kept as Shri Ganesh Swarnadham., In which the divine abode of Lord Ganesha has been depicted. Rohit Tilak, trustee at Kesari Wada, said that the Ganpati idol was welcomed with traditional musical instruments.

Tilak said, For the next ten days, many cultural programs as well as social initiatives will be organized by the Mandal. We are also organizing lectures by eminent personalities from various fields.
