Firing in broad daylight on Monday in Wasseypur, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, the coal capital of the country, created panic in the area. Two attackers riding a bike targeted Shanu Khan, brother of gangster Faheem Khan and opened fire. Three people including Shanu Khan were injured in this attack. Let us tell you that Faheem Khan is considered to be the inspiration for Nawazuddin Siddiqui's character Faizal Khan in Anurag Kashyap's film Gangs of Wasseypur.
According to the information, Sanu Khan was talking to some people in Wasseypur. Meanwhile, two youths riding a red bike reached there and suddenly started firing. After firing, both the attackers fled from the spot. In this incident, Shanu Khan was shot, while Shaham, who runs a local shop, was also shot twice. A woman who was hit by the firing was also injured. All three were first taken to the local hospital, from where they were later referred to another hospital for better treatment.

Police is scanning CCTV
The police is now trying to find out the reason behind the firing. Initial investigation is to find out whether the attack is the result of some old enmity or is related to some current gang dispute. Police have started scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area. Through this, efforts are being made to identify the attackers and find out their escape route.
This is not the first case of attack on Shanu Khan. About a year ago, an attempt was made to shoot him near Alinagar also. However, he had a narrow escape in that incident. After the latest attack, the police are also investigating any possible link between the old case and the current incident.

Forensic team collected evidence
After receiving information about the incident, the forensic team reached the spot and collected necessary evidence during the investigation. Initial reports said that eight shell casings and two live cartridges had been found. However, according to Dhanbad City SP Ritwik Srivastava, seven shells have been recovered from the spot. He said that as the investigation progresses, the identity of the attackers and the reason behind the firing will become clear. The police is investigating the matter
