Tezzbuzz Desk Amidst the pomp of Ganeshotsav in Mumbai, celebrities are continuously arriving to visit Lalbaugcha Raja. In this episode, actor Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia D'Souza also came to see Bappa. Genelia has shared a glimpse of this special occasion on social media, in which both are seen taking the blessings of Lalbaugcha Raja.
In the video, Ritesh and Genelia are seen walking towards the pandal barefoot. A large number of devotees were present for the darshan of Lalbaugcha Raja. Amidst the huge crowd, both of them reached the pandal in the presence of policemen and members of the organizing team. During this time, a coconut was also seen in Genelia's hand to offer to Bappa.
After reaching the pandal, Ritesh and Genelia performed puja as per rituals and took the blessings of Lalbaugcha Raja. Ranveer Singh, Shilpa Shetty, Rohit Sharma and the Ambani family were among the celebrities who visited Lalbaugcha Raja during Ganeshotsav this year.
Genelia was seen in her traditional look during the darshan. She wore a dark purple colored Anarkali kurta, which had light floral embroidery on it. With this she carried matching pajamas and dupatta. She completed her look with large oxidized silver earrings, light makeup and a bindi. Light bangs in open hair were making her look more attractive.
Whereas Ritesh Deshmukh wore a white kurta-pajama, on which light yellow embroidery was visible. Her simple festive look looked great with Genelia's purple ethnic outfit.
Special importance is given to the darshan of Lalbaugcha Raja during the Ganpati festival in Mumbai. Established by the Koli community in 1934, this famous pandal attracts a large number of devotees and celebrities every year.
The theme of Lalbaugcha Raja's pandal for the 2026 Ganeshotsav is said to be inspired by Mahadev. A huge trident has been installed in the middle of the pandal. The temple-like entrance, attractive architecture and the entire complex decorated with lights are giving a grand look to this year's festival.
