Gift to Gandhinagar: Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works worth Rs. 620 crores.

Gandhinagar, 17 May. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development works of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation, the capital of Gujarat. These works, costing approximately Rs 620 crore, mark a major step towards further strengthening the infrastructure and civic amenities in the city. Many dignitaries including Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel were present on this occasion.

Development works get new momentum in Gandhinagar

Addressing the program, Amit Shah said that the state government and the municipal corporation are continuously taking important steps to improve the overall development and public facilities in Gandhinagar. He said that the development journey of Gujarat started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi while he was the Chief Minister is still progressing continuously.

Huge victory in local body elections due to public trust and strength of organization.

Referring to the recent local body elections, Shah said that the public has given clear support to the party in many areas. He claimed that the party has got widespread success in municipal corporations, municipalities and panchayats, which shows the public trust and strength of the organisation.

Sharp political attacks on the opposition

In his address, Shah also targeted the opposition parties. He said that the influence of the opposition is continuously decreasing in Gujarat and the public inclination is towards development and good governance. He also said that this public support shows confidence in the party’s policies and work.

The Home Minister said that the basis of the party’s success is the booth level workers, who constantly stay among the people and solve their problems. He also mentioned the service work done by the workers during the Corona pandemic and called it the reason for the strength of the organization.

Comment on the nationwide political situation

Amit Shah said that at present the party and its alliance are in power in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and many other states. He claimed that the influence of the organization is strong in large parts of the country and this is the result of public trust.

Mention of Bengal and comment on development

Referring to West Bengal, he said that there too the people have supported change and given priority to development. He also said that the pace of development in the state was affected due to prolonged misgovernance.
