First meeting in 2013

The beginning of the relationship between Glenn Maxwell and Vini Raman was very beautiful. The two first met in December 2013, after which their friendship deepened and in 2017 they made their relationship official. After getting engaged in February 2020, the wedding ceremony had to be postponed due to the pandemic. Finally, on March 27, 2022, both of them got married in Melbourne. Vinny Raman is of Indian origin, so the couple got married according to two different customs. Maxwell was seen wearing a golden sherwani in the wedding ceremony which was held according to traditional Hindu customs along with Christian tradition, which was highly appreciated by Indian fans.

Screams echoed in the house of Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell.

The arrival of little Maia has come at a very special juncture in Glenn Maxwell's life and sports career. Maxwell, one of the most explosive players in world cricket, retired from international ODI cricket in June 2025. In his illustrious ODI career, he scored 3,990 runs in 149 matches and also took 77 important wickets. He was a key pillar of Australia's World Cup-winning teams in 2015 and 2023. Especially his historic innings of unbeaten 201 runs, played despite battling injury against Afghanistan at the Mumbai ground in the 2023 World Cup, is still fresh in the minds of cricket lovers. Now after saying goodbye to this format of the game, Maxwell is enjoying this new and happy moment with his family.
