Business Desk – Gold Silver Price Today: The trend of decline in domestic gold prices continues. On the morning of April 24, gold became even cheaper. In the capital Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold fell to Rs 153,690 per 10 grams. In Mumbai this rate fell to Rs 153,540 per 10 grams.

Just a day earlier, gold prices in Delhi’s bullion market had closed at Rs 156,100 per 10 grams, registering a decline of Rs 900. Meanwhile, in the international market, spot gold is trading at $4,738.40 an ounce.

Experts believe that the strengthening of the dollar and the rise in oil prices have weakened the market sentiment. The rise in yields on US bonds has also contributed to the fall in gold prices. The 10-year bond yield rose by about 0.03 percent to 4.32 percent.

This further reduced the attractiveness of safe-haven assets like gold. Apart from this, the Strait of Hormuz, which is an important sea route. Due to the continuous market uncertainty arising from the increasing tension between Iran and America, the purchase of gold is also being affected.

  • Gold price in Delhi: In Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 153,690 per 10 grams. The rate of 22-carat gold is Rs 140,890 per 10 grams.
  • Mumbai and Kolkata: Currently, in Mumbai and Kolkata, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 140,740 per 10 grams, while the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 153,540 per 10 grams.
  • Gold price in Chennai: The price of 24-carat gold is Rs 154,470 per 10 grams. The rate of 22-carat gold is Rs 141,590 per 10 grams.
  • Prices in Pune and Bengaluru: In both these cities, the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 153,540 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 140,740 per 10 grams.

A decline has also been seen in the prices of silver. On the morning of April 24, prices fell to Rs 259,900 per kg. Last day, silver prices fell by Rs 5,300 to close at Rs 250,000 per kg in Delhi’s bullion market. Spot silver is trading at $76.37 per ounce in the international market.
