Patna. Relief news has emerged for the revenue employees of Bihar. Now the path to become officers has started opening for the employees who have been waiting for promotion for a long time. In the first phase, the State Revenue and Land Reforms Department has given responsibility on higher posts to some revenue employees. This has given hope to other employees also.
On behalf of the department, six employees working in Bihar Revenue Employees Cadre have been appointed as Revenue Officers and equivalent posts under Bihar Revenue Service Cadre. After promotion, these employees will also get the benefit of pay level-7.

Revenue employees were demanding their promotion for a long time. Now the department has taken steps in this direction and started the process. In the first phase, the employees who have got the responsibility of officer post, have been posted in different districts. This decision has also given hope to those employees who have been waiting for their turn for years.

Revenue employees have to fulfill certain prescribed conditions to become officers. Under this, the employee’s service period must be complete and the service record must be satisfactory. As per rules, certain posts in the Revenue Service are filled through promotion of Revenue employees. For this, the prescribed procedure and eligibility has to be followed.
