Important and useful news has emerged for millions of farmers across the country awaiting the 24th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This time, many farmers have not yet received the 2,000 rupees of the previous, 23rd, installment in their bank accounts. Some are stuck due to incomplete e-KYC, while others have minor errors in their land records or bank details. The biggest question now is whether the pending installment will be combined with the upcoming 24th installment. If you meet the eligibility criteria and the technical issue is resolved, you could receive up to 4,000 rupees along with the outstanding amount.
Will I get Rs 4,000 along with the stuck 23rd installment?
Under the PM Kisan Yojana, eligible farmers across the country receive a total financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually. This money is transferred directly to their bank accounts in three installments of ₹2,000 each year. If an eligible farmer’s 23rd installment was delayed due to a technical glitch or incomplete procedures, and the farmer has now rectified the error, they may receive the remaining ₹2,000 along with the new installment. This means that if the farmer is fully eligible for the 24th installment and their previous payment was pending, they are likely to receive the full ₹4,000 instead of ₹2,000 this time. The biggest and primary reason behind the installment delay is incomplete e-KYC. E-KYC is mandatory for every farmer benefiting from the scheme. If you haven’t yet completed your e-KYC, you can do it immediately online on the official PM Kisan portal or by visiting your nearest CSC center, so that there are no further delays in payment.
Land records and land seeding are very important.
Many times, even after farmers’ e-KYC is complete, their installment payments are stuck. The most common reason for this could be technical issues related to land seeding. It’s essential that the land records registered in a farmer’s name are properly linked to the government database. If any problems arise, farmers can immediately contact their local patwari, accountant, or relevant revenue officer to have them rectified.
Do not make any mistake in Aadhaar and bank account details
PM Kisan Yojana funds are transferred directly to farmers’ bank accounts through DBT. Therefore, it’s crucial that all bank account information is accurate. Payments can be blocked due to an Aadhaar card not being linked to the bank account, DBT not being active, an incorrect account number, or an incorrect IFSC code. Furthermore, the Farmer ID and the name listed in government records must match exactly.
When will the 24th installment of PM Kisan come?
Currently, the government has not announced an official date for the release of the 24th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. Based on past records and trends, there is usually a four-month gap between two installments of the scheme.
