Design Details: Large pill-shaped camera module and flat display

According to the leaked renders, the design of the Pixel 11a is quite similar to the Pixel 10a. The rear panel has been kept completely flat, on which a pill-shaped camera module is visible on the top. However, this time the camera island looks a little bigger than the previous model. The camera module has a dual rear camera setup and an LED flash.

The front panel of the phone will have a flat display with thin bezels. A punch-hole cutout has been given in the top center of the screen, in which the selfie camera will be present. The volume rocker and power button are set on the right side of the device, while the USB Type-C port, primary microphone and speaker grille will be found at the bottom.

Possible specifications and four new color shades

According to reports, Google is planning to offer Pixel 11a in four different colors:

  • Obsidian: Classic Black Finish
  • Olive / Pistachio: The New Green Shade
  • Frost: Light Purple Finish
  • Fog: Silver/Grey shade

Talking about the specifications, the device can have a 6.3-inch OLED display, whose resolution will be 1,080 x 2,424 pixels. The screen will support 120Hz refresh rate, which can give a peak brightness of up to 2,250 nits in HDR mode and 3,350 nits in outdoor brightness.

For performance, the phone is expected to be provided with Google's next Tensor G6 chipset. Apart from this, MediaTek M90 networking chip can be used in it for better network connectivity and battery efficiency.

Launch timeline and availability

The official launch date or price of Pixel 11a has not been confirmed by Google yet. Usually, the company launches its 'a' series devices a few months after the launch of the main flagship series.
