Great moment of honor at the stage of retirement, 73 policemen got next honorary post

New Delhi: An atmosphere full of emotion, respect and pride was seen in the Adarsh ​​Auditorium of Delhi Police Headquarters on Wednesday. A piping ceremony was organized in honor of 73 policemen who have been responsible for the security and law and order of the capital over the years. On the occasion of retirement, these policemen were awarded the next higher honorary post from their present post. Along with senior officers of Delhi Police, family members of the retiring policemen were also present in the ceremony.

The function was presided over by Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag Kumar. He congratulated the retiring policemen for their years of dedicated service and honored them by placing badges of the next higher honorary rank on their shoulders. This moment was emotional and proud for the policemen.

73 personnel got honorary position

A total of 73 retired policemen were awarded the next higher honorary posts at the ceremony. In these-

One constable was given the honorary post of head constable.
Two head constables got the honorary rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI).
21 Assistant Sub-Inspectors were given the honorary rank of Sub-Inspector.
49 sub-inspectors were given the honorary rank of inspector.
