Patna. There is a relief news for the teachers working in government schools of Bihar. Now teachers will not need to visit offices again and again to take leave. The state government is preparing to make the leave process online from November 1. After the implementation of the new system, teachers will be able to apply for leave sitting at home.
According to the government's plan, arrangements will be made to take a decision on the leave application within a maximum of 48 hours. With this, teachers will not have to wait for a long time for a response after applying.
The entire leave process will be online
Under the new system, teachers will have to apply for leave through digital medium. The application will reach the concerned officer online and after examining it from there, the process of approval or rejection will be completed. This is expected to reduce paper applications and unnecessary running around in offices. Besides, monitoring of leave applications will also become easier.
If there is delay, action will be taken against officials
The government has also laid emphasis on timely disposal of leave applications. In case of not taking action on the application within the stipulated time limit or causing unnecessary delay, the responsibility of the concerned officer will be fixed. Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari informed about the government's priorities regarding facilities for teachers in the foundation day program of Patna Collegiate School.
Free competitive exam preparation in model schools
At the same time, along with improving the education system in the state, new initiatives are also being taken for the students. Arrangements have been made in model schools to prepare students for competitive examinations like medical and engineering. The purpose of providing free coaching to the students in these schools is to provide an opportunity for better preparation to the children from economically weaker families. The Education Department hopes that the impact of this initiative will be better visible in the next two-three years.
