Many serious information has come to light regarding the accused Balraj alias Balla, who was killed in a police encounter in the case of rape and murder of a 6-year-old girl in Haldauni village of Greater Noida. According to police sources and villagers, many cases of rape and murder of innocent children were registered against Balraj in the past also. It is being told that he had also committed such incidents in Loni and Surajpur police station area of Ghaziabad. After the body of the girl was recovered in Haldauni village on Saturday, the police injured the accused in an encounter, after which he died during treatment in the hospital.
According to Ecotech-3 Kotwali police, the victim couple has a son and two daughters. His youngest daughter studied in first class in the government school located near the house. On Friday, Balraj allegedly coaxed the girl and took her with him. After this he raped her and murdered her.
When the girl did not return home, the family started searching for her. Even after a lot of searching, when the girl was not found, the family started scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby. In the footage, the girl was seen going with accused Balraj. After this, the family members caught Balraj and handed him over to the police.
First procrastination during interrogation, then claiming to have confessed to the crime..
When the police interrogated the accused, initially he allegedly kept evasive. Later, according to the police, he confessed to his crime. On his information, the police recovered the body of the girl kept inside a sack in the field.
After the news of finding the dead body, the anger of the family and villagers increased. People started creating ruckus by blocking the road. The villagers demanded strict action against the accused. The protesting people calmed down after the police assured them of strict action.
What was Balraj's relationship with the girl?
It has been told that the accused Balraj lived on rent in the girl's uncle's house and worked as a labourer. For this reason he was familiar with the area around the family. The villagers have also made serious allegations against the accused. They say that Balraj was very dangerous and he had committed such crimes with children before also. According to the villagers, he used to have unnatural sex with animals also.
Allegation of murder of girl in Loni also
According to police sources and villagers, Balraj had also raped and murdered a girl in Loni, Ghaziabad. He was also punished in this case. It has been told that after coming out of jail on bail, he committed such an incident again.
Apart from this, in Surajpur police station area also he is accused of raping and murdering an innocent child. The girl's family members say that many cases of rape and murder of innocent children were already registered against Balraj.
On the basis of these cases, police sources and villagers have described him as a kind of serial killer. However, the police is still gathering information about his entire criminal history.
The accused was injured in a police encounter
After the body of the girl was recovered in Haldauni village, the police had injured the accused Balraj in an encounter on Saturday. According to DCP Shailendra Kumar Singh, the accused was injured in an encounter with the police. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he died during treatment.
DCP said that the police is now gathering information about other criminal history of Balraj. This means that the cases registered against him earlier and other information related to his criminal activities are also being investigated.
