Amritsar- Group Commander Amritsar Group Brigadier Kulbir Singh today conducted a surprise inspection of the 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp being run under the leadership of First Punjab Battalion NCC at Baba Kumma Singh Engineering College, Satlani Sahib. On reaching the camp, Camp Commandant Colonel G.S. Singh welcomed him.
During the inspection, Brigadier Kulbir Singh met the NCC cadets who had come to the Combined Annual Training Camp to participate in the selection process for the Republic Day Parade. Addressing the cadets, he said that with determination, discipline, passion and hard work, NCC cadets can achieve the honor of participating in the Republic Day Parade. He motivated the cadets to prepare with full dedication.
He also gave necessary instructions to the staff preparing the cadets for the Republic Day Parade. Apart from this, he also met the NCC cadets who took part in cultural activities during the Republic Day Parade and encouraged them.
The Group Commander specially inspected the cadets' accommodation, officers' mess, cadet dining hall, kitchen and cleaning arrangements in the camp. He interacted with the cadets and inquired about the facilities and arrangements being provided to them in the camp. After reviewing the entire arrangements, he expressed happiness.
On this occasion, Camp Commandant Colonel G.S. Singh gave a briefing report about the camp to the Group Commander and was briefed in detail about the various training and cultural activities taking place during the camp.
On this occasion, Subedar Major Labh Singh, NCC Officer Sukhpal Singh Sandhu, Subedar Baljinder Singh, Naib Subedar Pargat Singh, BHM Malkit Singh along with other NCC staff were also present.
