The victim, identified as Kajalben Baraiya, was attacked by Faisal alias Khatki, with whom she was living in a live-in relationship for the last seven years. After being seriously injured, he was taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment on 4 September. The police have registered a case of murder against Faisal and arrested him.

According to the police, this incident happened on September 3 between 3 pm and 4 pm. Faisal had a fight with Kajalben and his friend Ravi Gohil. Police said that Faisal suspected that Kajalben was having an affair with Ravi. As the altercation escalated, he threw Kajalben on the ground and kicked and punched him, causing serious injuries on his head and other vital body parts. Ravi, who witnessed the attack, tried to intervene but was also beaten and injured. This incident was captured in the CCTV cameras installed at Bhavnagar ST bus stand. In the footage, people nearby are watching the attack taking place. However, Ravi, who was both an eyewitness and victim of the incident, told the police that the dispute was over drinking alcohol.

Faisal arrested in murder case
Based on the complaint lodged by Kajalben’s mother, the police registered a case of murder against Faisal and arrested him.
