Another disaster in Nepal. Harappa Bun again. Once again the flood swallowed the house. Several bridges were swept away like straw. Helpless people of Nepal again near the stream!
Nepal faces another devastating flood as the Budhigandaki River sweeps away Salleri Bazaar in Gorkha. A landslide is suspected to have blocked the river before unleashing a sudden surge. Once a river is blocked, the buildup of water can turn catastrophic in minutes, leaving little time to escape. The disaster comes amid recurring flash floods and landslides across the Himalayan region, where fragile mountain slopes, intense rainfall and rising rivers pose a growing threat to small habitations living losers to the river banks in remote areas.
