Harassment of Chief Justice Surya Kant in London! Condemned India, behind the ‘Deep State’?
India’s Chief Justice Surya Kant is the victim of ‘Hensta’ in London. The entire incident has already created a sensation. This time, New Delhi condemned the issue. India has made it clear that such behavior is unacceptable. According to a section of informed circles, there is a well-planned attempt to tarnish India’s image by promoting anti-India theories on the international stage. What is working behind the ‘Deep State’? The question arises.
Last Thursday, Chief Justice Surya Kant attended a discussion on ‘Artificial Intelligence and International Law’ at Birkbeck College, London. After speaking there, in the question and answer session, some of those present raised questions about India’s democracy. Alleged that there is growing intolerance towards dissent in India. Not only that, some also tried to question the Chief Justice’s recent ‘Arshola’ comment. A woman present said, “The Hon’ble Chief Justice raised some important points about India’s role in protecting democracy in the context of artificial intelligence.” His addition, “We are now hearing from many legal experts, both domestically and internationally, that there is growing concern about the growing intolerance of dissent in India. The matter is also somewhat reflected in the speech of the Hon’ble Chief Justice.“
However, the woman could not complete her speech. The stage manager stopped him. “With all due respect, I cannot take this question because the subject of our discussion is artificial intelligence and international law. I am very sorry,” he said. A video of the incident has already gone viral on social media (though the authenticity of the video has not been verified by Sanbad Pradik Digital). India condemned the incident. A statement was issued by the Indian Embassy in London on Friday. It reads, ‘Such indecent behavior is not acceptable. Differences are a natural part of a democratic society. However, it must be expressed in a civil and respectful manner.’
