New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended congratulations to Prof. Gobardhan Das, praising his inspiring journey marked by perseverance, humility, and dedication.

In a deeply personal statement, Prof. Das described his appointment as a member of NITI Aayog as one of the most important moments of his life.
He expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for the opportunity and reflected on his humble beginnings as the son of a farmer from a Dalit family in a remote village in West Bengal.
