Women were asked to get Rs 15,000 for shaving their heads, school and college going girls would be given Rs 45,000 and a laptop, while men were asked to be given Rs 6,000. The thugs also instructed the villagers to get their heads shaved by noon the next day, because after that government officials would reach the village and give assistance to the beneficiaries. Falling into this trap, three women got their heads shaved. However, when the women tried to contact the same number again to get information about the promised amount, the phone was found switched off.
