Hindu youth murdered by slitting his throat in Sant Kabirnagar, angry mob sets fire to accused’s house

Sant Kabir Nagar: The atmosphere became tense after the murder of a youth in Sant Kabirnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. This incident that happened on Thursday night shocked the entire area. The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Anand, resident of Kolki Chamarasan village. As soon as information about the incident was received, family members and villagers reached the spot in large numbers. People started protesting by placing the dead body on the road. The uproar continued for a long time, after which the police controlled the situation by convincing the people and sent the body for post-mortem.

The accused’s house and hut were set on fire

As soon as the news of the murder spread, people became angry. The angry mob set fire to a house and a kiosk belonging to the accused. After the incident, tension increased in the entire area. Seeing the situation, the administration deployed additional security forces. Policemen were also called from nearby districts. On receiving the information, senior officers also reached the spot and took stock of the situation.

Case related to dispute in wedding ceremony

According to preliminary information, there was a dispute at a wedding ceremony a few days ago. It is alleged that a girl from the deceased’s family was molested, which Anand had opposed. It is being told that there was tension between the two sides regarding the same incident. Eyewitness told the whole story of the incident

Deceased’s cousin Rohit told that Anand used to work in installing tiles. On the day of the incident, he had reached Bhabhani intersection to deliver a machine. After completing the work, he was returning home after purchasing some goods. According to Rohit, during this time the accused reached there and attacked Anand with a sharp weapon. He suffered serious injuries on his neck in the attack, due to which he died on the spot. He claimed that other people may also be involved in this incident.

Family members demanded strict action

The family of the deceased has demanded strict action against the accused. The family members say that the culprits should be arrested as soon as possible and they should be given strict punishment. After the incident, the family is in bad condition and crying. The villagers have also demanded from the administration that the matter should be investigated impartially and strict action should be taken against the culprits.
